If you fucked up once, chances are it wasn’t your first time, and someone will dig it up sooner or later (in this case, sooner)

Point in case, the Balloon Boy hoax. A charming gay-bashing video uncovered by the guys from queerty! Lo, behold the media-starved parents grooming their three wee boys to become the new Britney (OR NOT).

To quote queerty,

Queerty reader Jonathan told us he heard the three boys using the word [faggot] in the video. So we took a listen, and might have heard the word used around the 2:40 mark, but that’s definitely them saying “faggot” at around 2:52 — as they reenact a gay bashing murder scene.

Oh, classy!

(I hope the authorities do consider it child abuse, because seriously. This is brainwashing, FFS)

(In case the video is taken down, there should be three more at queerty and Pam’s House Blend)

Even without the homophobic additions this home movie is scary… what kind of parents encourage this kind of behaviour in their children: violence, half witted machismo etc

    • But you’re pussufied if you don’t wanna Got GetThe Queers (TM)! Clearly.

What I think terrifying is the attitude those people have. They can indoctrinate their children with whatever they feel like, be it hatred, conspiracy theories, anti-vaccine mumbo-jumbo, but as soon as it runs out the kids might have to attend sex ed in school or something they explode into GOVERNMENT WANTS TO OWN OUR CHILDREN NOOOOOOOOOOO.

  2. pillowscrapbook says:

unfortunately this is how it works, you choose one set of beliefs and decide that this is true and the rest is just lies to serve some agenda… which some of them probably are but so can be the “adopted truths”. the sad thing is that if you try talking to these people they just feel rectified in their delusions.

  3. pillowscrapbook says:

    i’m a moron i mean reinforced not rectified ^^!

  4. Did you see their parents were asked about this on cnn? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1KHwhQUxUvc

    • Oh… How can you be so stupid and not forget to breathe? “We believe in positive reinforcement in our family”? I cringed so hard I might have broken something.

Although, I think the interviewer completely missed the point. Encouraging kids to use certain words is bad enough, but it’s encouraging them to be violent towards people those words are supposed to represent that’s really evil. Or, encouraging them to be violent, period.

  5. pillowscrapbook says:

positive reinforcement – fantastic, encouraging the interest in music and all, but damn it if the children wrote this masterpiece on their own, they just mindlessly repeat what they are encouraged to believe is cool lyrics and in time the meaning of these imprinted words will become clear to them
